The bike in France is strongly developed in recent years. There are now many greenways developed for cyclists , cities are equipped with bike lanes and bicycle rental system.

Greenways in France

A stay in Côte d’Or

The greenways of the Côte d’Or, in the heart of Burgundy will allow you to walk along the Burgundy Canal through Tonnerre, Montbard, the historic site of Alesia.

A path suitable for bikes allows you to continue to Dijon where you can visit the Museum of Fine Arts, the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy and the archaeological museum in the former Abbey Saint-Benigne. You will also be able to embark on the path of vineyards , marked out from Beaune to Santenay.

The Lubéron by bike

A cycling trip in the Landes will be an opportunity to travel from Bayonne to Arcachon along the Atlantic coast . This exceptional trail will allow you to discover beautiful landscapes and enjoy your breaks in the water. Roads inland go through Roquefort, Dax and Mont-de-Marsan.

In Vendee

There are 800 km of cycle paths in the Vendée along the coast and forming an inland loop. You will be able to go from Sables d’Olonne to La Baule via Noirmoutier and Pornic. You can also stop at La Roche sur Yon or Nantes.

Cities equipped with bicycles for your city walks

If you do not necessarily travel by bike, but once you arrive in town, you appreciate the walks in the center and around, know that more and cities are equipped with bike rental systems such as those we know to Lyon and Paris.
